## Why we built Izzy

Associations exist to serve their members. But when service teams are overwhelmed, members wait — and trust erodes quietly.

We built Izzy because we believe associations deserve tools that protect member relationships, not just automate them.

The Name

## Why "Izzy"?

![Isadore Sharp](https://meetizzy.ai/hs-fs/hubfs/download.webp?width=144&height=100&name=download.webp)

Izzy is inspired by **Isadore Sharp**, founder of Four Seasons Hotels, whose "Golden Rule" philosophy set the global standard for customer care: treat others as you'd want to be treated.

We chose this name because great service isn't accidental. It's intentional — built into every interaction, every system, every decision.

## Who We Are

Izzy is built by [Blue Cypress](https://bluecypress.io), a family of companies serving associations with AI-powered products and services.

We work exclusively with associations — which means we understand the nuances of member service, certification workflows, event logistics, and the trust-based relationships that define this industry.
